DIRECTOR

Nidhi is the Director of the GW WPLSA Newsletter. She is currently a sophomore studying political science with a minor in law and society. Nidhi is from Lake Oswego, OR and is also involved in the GW Undergraduate Moot Court team and the University Honors Program.

EDITOR

Cate is a sophomore in the University Honors Program studying Political Science. She brings editorial experience from Ballotpedia and the Maine League of Women Voters, where she conducted legislative research and developed civic engagement content for young voters. Cate currently serves as the Director of Outreach and Communication for the GW Student Consortium on Women, Peace, and Security, and is a Peer Advisor in the University Honors Program. She is passionate about public policy, youth advocacy, and empowering women in law and politics. 

EDITOR

I am a freshman at George Washington University studying economics! Outside of classes, I enjoy writing journalism, doing henna and running. I am also the lead singer of a newly founded indie-pop band on campus!

Originally from Greenwich, Connecticut, Catherine is a current freshman at George Washington University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in History. A new member of the WPLSA, Catherine has also recently become a member of The Hatchet and GW’s PLSA. In her free time, Catherine enjoys reading, working out at the gym, and spending time with friends and family.

Hi! I’m a first-year student majoring in Political Science with a focus on public policy. I’m from Sacramento, California, and I’m passionate about using law and policy to promote educational equity and representation. Outside of academics, I enjoy taking long walks with my dog and listening to music.

My name is Daniella Gavalas and I am a finance major with a minor in political science (class of 2028). I enjoy having political discussions and keeping up with current events. In my spare time, I take interest in learning about cars and attending car shows!
